Announcement
Hello! I'm Mindy Lee. Thank you for supporting handmade businesses!!
When you order from me you are getting a custom piece of jewelry that is handmade to order. Each item is individually hand sculpted and fabricated by my hands. Nothing I sell is mass produced or pre-cast.
Because each jewelry piece is individually made to your specifications, my processing time can be up to 3 weeks, depending on the time of year and how many orders I have ahead of yours. Please keep this in mind when ordering. (See individual item information for specific processing times.)
********It is your responsibility to familiarized yourself with all shop policies, processing times, and the description of the item(s) you purchase.********
It is also your responsibility to know your jewelry sizing before making your purchase. If you are unsure of your size, please contact me. I am more than happy to help you figure out sizing.
I do offer expedited processing for an additional fee. This allows you to cut in line ahead of any orders before yours and be placed at the front of my queue. See my shop "add ons" section to find this option.
Please understand that, even if you choose the expedited processing, I still need a few days time to make your jewelry.

“When we buy something which is crafted, we participate in the experience in a way we are unable to do with a mass-produced good. We feel a connection to the craftsman, to the labor and the love put into the work. What we are buying into is the very uniqueness of the product. The guarantee that it is not like all of the others because the labor that went into it represents time and care."

How to care for your jewelry:
Moisture and air can cause most metals tarnish. Even high quality solid sterling silver and all gold except solid 24k gold will eventually develop tarnish.
Lotion, perfume, makeup, and chemicals can all cause your jewelry to tarnish faster.
One of the best ways to prevent tarnish is just to wear your jewelry daily. The friction and oils from your skin help to prevent tarnish from adhering to the silver.
It’s best to avoid prolonged moisture exposure to your jewelry. Dry it well after showering or bathing.
Chlorine and salt in water can darken sterling silver. Please remove jewelry when swimming to maintain its color and shine.
When you’re not wearing your jewelry, clean it and store it in an airtight container or jewelry box.
Cleaning your jewelry.
For plated or filled jewelry, A quick wipe with a lint-free microfiber cloth should remove tarnish. Avoid abrasive or chemical cleaners, which can damage the plating.
Blackened jewelry should be cleaned with water only and dried quickly.
For solid copper jewelry, I recommend a copper polish or the silver and copper polishing pads I offer here in my shop. Find them in my "add ons" section. The more you polish your copper jewelry, the more shiny it will be!
For solid silver and gold, there are many different commercial cleaners available. Always follow the directions carefully!
With proper care your jewelry will look great for years to come and can be handed down for generations!
What is the difference between gold "filled" and gold "plated" jewelry?
Gold-filled jewelry is much more valuable than gold-plated. In fact, there is almost 100 percent more gold in gold-filled items than is found in gold-plated items. Just as gold-plated jewelry is plated with gold, gold-filled jewelry is as well, but there is a big difference between the ways these products are made.
Gold-filled items have a much thicker layer of gold on them, and the gold is a much higher quality. In fact, it is just a step down from solid gold when it comes to quality and value.
My gold/silver filled nose ring is turning colors!
Even high quality jewelry (including solid silver and gold) can oxidize over time. If your jewelry is in a wet or moist environment, the oxidation process is sped up substantially.
The moist interior of your nose can cause tarnish to develop on the inner end of the nose ring. This is harmless, and will generally not show up on the exterior (visible) part of the nose ring. This can be avoided by removing your nose ring daily, gently wiping it clean, and letting it dry. Also, if you have a cold or runny nose, it is best to remove your nose ring.
I personally wear my own nose rings daily and with proper care they can last and look nice for years.
Is sterling silver safe to wear in my piercing?
Sterling silver jewelry is safe to wear in some fully healed piercings such as ear lobe and nose piercings. You should avoid using silver jewelry in piercings that stay wet (the mouth, genitals, etc.)
You should always look for sterling silver jewelry that is nickel free. Nickel is a very common metal sensitivity/allergy and it is best to avoid it, even if you haven’t had a reaction in the past.
It is rare to be sensitive to silver itself. Some people can also be sensitive to the tiny amount of copper that is alloyed with silver for hardness. This is less common, but it can happen.
I had a reaction after wearing your jewelry-
The most common metal sensitivity is nickel. All of my jewelry is 100% nickel free.
It is possible, but uncommon, to be sensitive to the tiny amount of copper that is alloyed with silver to make sterling silver.
More likely your reaction is caused by another issue, such as dirty hands.
It is incredibly important to only touch your piercings with fully washed hands. You should also clean your jewelry well with soap and water and dry it fully before putting it in. Contaminants on your hands or jewelry can cause infection.
It is also import to be gentle when changing jewelry. Small scratches inside your piercing can create irritation that leads to inflammation and/or infection.
Please see a doctor if you develop any signs of infection.
